Report – APRA Quarterly Performance June 2024

This report contains SMC’s analysis of the latest quarterly APRA superannuation statistics ending June 2024. The report shows that total superannuation assets rose 0.4 per cent in the June Quarter, and are 9.1 per cent higher than a year ago – now at $3.92 trillion. Industry funds recorded the highest growth, with funds under management (FUM) growing by $17.1 billion (1.3 per cent). The retail and SMSF sectors also grew, each by 0.5 per cent, while FUM in corporate and public sector funds fell.
