The Super Members Council (SMC) advocates for a principles-based approach to corporate governance, emphasising flexibility and tailored practices that align with the unique circumstances of each regulated-entity. This approach supports effective oversight, risk management, and accountability, ensuring governance remains meaningful and responsive to the challenges faced by superannuation funds.
