Report – APRA Performance briefing pack for the June 2025 quarter

Key insights:

• Total superannuation assets rose by 4.8 per cent in the June quarter to $4.3 trillion and were 9.8 per cent higher than a year ago.
• Among the sectors, industry funds recorded the strongest growth in June quarter with funds under management (FUM) up $83 billion (5.6 per cent) to $1.57 trillion.
• Overall net returns for entities with more than six members were 4.9 per cent in the quarter and were up 10.2 per cent on an annual basis.
