Report – APRA Performance briefing pack for the September 2025 quarter

This report found that:

• Total superannuation assets rose by 3.0 per cent in the September quarter to $4.5 trillion and were 9.4 per cent higher than a year ago.
• The overall market share for the profit-to-member sector grew from 54.9 per cent in September 2024 to 55.6 per cent in September 2025, up by 0.7 per cent.
• For the year to September 2025, industry funds recorded sector-leading net returns of 10.3 per cent, followed by public sector funds (10.1 per cent), and retail funds (9.6 per cent).
