Report – APRA Quarterly Performance March 2024

This report contains SMC’s analysis of the latest quarterly APRA superannuation statistics ending Mar 2024. The report shows total superannuation assets rose by 4.2% to $3.9 trillion, 11% higher than a year ago, net returns for entities with more than six members was 10.9% over the past year, and since the December quarter 2017, around $70 billion has flown into industry funds, mostly from retail funds.
